Familiarity Breeds Contempt, this phrase kinda has a new meaning to me today.
I had a great time meeting up with my old primary school mates again. Although it quite a small number(Tan Wee Teck, Goh Kheng Pang, Lee Rong Cheng, Caleb Wong), it was still great to see them all again. Can see the many changes especially physical that surprised me a lot. Like for Wee Teck, got long and dyed hair. Kheng Pang with long hair as well, and well rong cheng and caleb looks kinda of the same as I remember. As for myself I think the prominent change would be my height and my haircut(Cut it real short yesterday). Used to be quite tall during primary 6 and now they're all taller than me especially Wee Teck.
Had lunch at PastaMania with Kheng Pang and Wee Teck and after that met up with the other 2 to go watch movie("Without A Paddle"). Then we went to Takashimaya to walking around and talk about all the other guys in our 6KK class trying to name every single one and where are their current education institution. Later we went to Kino and looked at books, and then it was time for me to leave for Lydia's birthday BBQ. Ran to orchard MRT and tried to make it on time to meet up with Pei Li though I arrived earlier I exited wrongly and was trying to find exit F. There met the choir people and some of her friends. Met a J2 senior there and helped out as much as I can with the BBQ.
There lots of food around, sausages, chicken wing, noodles, salad, marshmellows, otahs, cake and fruits. Free flow drinks as well but I must have like drunk 4 cans of those stuff, and ate lots of burnt goodies too. I love the marshmellows a lot and love the taste of it melting and stretching like cheese. Then came the guessing number games where the penalty was to like trying to finish some food leftover.
Then came the worst part of the day, going home. Why is going home bad? Because I lost my freakin EZ-link card and I couldn't exit from the gate at the LRT station. It totally sucked!!! I wonder where I lost it. The only possible location are Outram MRT all the way to the LRT on my way home. MAN IT IS HORRIBLE I HATE IT!!! Gets me all irritated and when I'm irritated and I get easily provoked into anger and frustration that I tend to take it on friends. Lost lots already and it seems I'm going to lose more again.
So what's the point anyway of trying to change for the better.
