title:{Life Ahead}

I had a wonderful dinner on Friday night. Had Thai Express dinner which I got my card as well as free red wine(YAY). And Gelare, followed by a lovely stroll down Orchard Road to Paragon Starbucks. I got a lovely card as well as an awesome shirt. Simply the best. It could have been anything else. Even a meal at food court, for its not what and where you eat that counts. Its the people who are with you.

Of course it was kinda a regret there I wished more people were around. The more the merrier. I liked the shirt. Its got a guitar on it. LOL. My new-found passion for the more rock instruments. I'm gonna learn a bit of the drum kit as well. More instrumental knowledge can prove useful somehow. Maybe improve my beat-boxing. I can hire myself out. I gotta learn the turn-table effects. So electronic sounding.

I sense an interesting change of events in the coming future. Its exact nature is discernible. Good or evil I can't seem to sense. But I know some changes are coming up. Its gonna be very very interesting. I look forward to it. I'm so ready to kick some butt

title:{Happy Birthday 21st}

Well time has passed rather quickly. The events of life have just flew past me. And hit me in the face along the way. And even below the belt. Ouch.

This year 21st Birthday. I didn't do any fancy part or whatsoever. I chose otherwise. To me its a chance of reflection as events start to unfold in a different manner I have never predicted nor seen before. It is a chance to think about who is important in your life, and what is important. I chose instead to have a drink and supper with my close buddies. People who wouldn't bat an eyelid when there is a need to answer the call to gather and meet. They will be there within a few hours after a phone call. That's what brotherhood is all about.

I had a simple 21st. I worked. My lunch and dinner were but simple fare. I crave not for a huge cake with lots of candles. Just a simple day would be good enough. But of course I got presents and red packets. An Ultimate Bumblebee. Awesome stuff I must say. Really loved it a lot. And am still loving it. My Bestest Gift Ever.

And today will be dinner with another group of friends. Friends who within a short time have created a bond strengthen by a common passion. A bond which I foolishly severed in events has spiraled beyond my own control. My only wish is to try to salvage what is left, and work on from there. Hard work. Especially when the group's dynamic diminishes with one or more members are not present.

What lies ahead of me I do not there. Will I meet more people. Will I have more friends. Will there be enemies waiting around the corner. Will there be a 'Me and You', or the tragedy of a 'You and Him'. Many questions. Only time will tell. On a final note, I'd like to thank God, for all that He has done for me. Giving me everything I ever needed and showing me the way to appreciate the people and things around me.

I was reading a friend's blog and (friend) kinda censored the stuff in (friend)'s blog. Freaking hell. Just because of some asshole passerby that chanced upon (friend)'s blog. Personally I believe suchs losers deserve to die a million times over and over. With me taking charge of course. What people write in their personal and safe haven is their problem. Got a problem, talk to that person, or if its me, you can talk to my fist. Or my feet whichever hits your face first. Or your family jewels can be your representatives. I'd gladly inflict a hell's wrath upon it.

On a side note. I decided to make things simple this year. Though it may be my 21st Birthday, I didn't hold any party whatsoever. Instead it was more of a drinking and Bak Kut Teh with some of my 'brothers'. Ya its just sitting at Iguana and having Bak Kut Teh until like 4a.m. Not many people would stay up that long but not these dudes. Always there to the end. I think it was quite a nice night. So yupz no invites for me friends this year sorry about that.

title:{Equal Temperament}

I'm gonna reach that dreary age liaoz. 21. Rather I should start saying I'm 18. Maybe update the blog's details as well. Yes. Sounds very delightful.

Anyway. New book again. Equal Temperament is about Harmony and how they should sound and stuff. The physics behind all your 5ths and 8ve and 3rd. Why the keyboard's 12 notes division is not necessary a good thing. I personally think after reading the book I got a better understand. And I believe vocalist are modelling the keyboard's division therefore probably compromising the authenticity of the olden flavour. Well its simple this way, in some manner. Having E(flat) and D(sharp) as 2 different notes can be quite a headache, not to mention brain-wrecking on theoritical works.

I've started work. I must say it beats bumming around at home. At least I got some form of income coming in. University is terribly expensive especially with the price hike. Aren't we like ahead on the economic scale. As if the GST hike isn't good enough. Wonder where that money goes. Oh I know. Remember walking down Orchard pass the IOn Orchard advertisements. All those little LED lights flashing and stuff. Yup, that's where taxpayer money goes. Flashy lights.

title:{Laugh More}

Motto for the week "Laugh". As simple as it sounds, I think its come to a point where laughing has diminished quite a bit in our lives, of which I'm speaking of people my age group.

Just realized my third book 'Amber Spyglass' had a stupid ink blot on one of the last few pages. Not one but two!! Freaking hell. I had to like scour whole of Singapore's library(2 only actually) just to find the same book so I can find out the ending. Ass. Stupid 3 books in one. Can't spot the defects until its too late.
