title:{Bassist In The Making}
Lunch Of The Champions. The 3 Cs. Caesar salad, Croissant, and Coke. LOL. Good lunch indeed. Love my salad. Should make it more often. Yum Yum. I'm kinda addicted to Croissant. They taste so yummy.
Anyway had a celebration for Aaron for his birthday which many people forgot. Well Andersons ice-cream should cheer anyone up. LOL.
Bought a bass guitar(electric). Yay for me. Its a fender...squire. Close enough to the good deal. I really love it. Should start being a rocker liaoz. Got inspired but L'arc En Ciel. They are really really cool. Anyway our local group Agapella also rockz me songs. If only their songs are easier to transcribe, and that I got a motivation. Really stuck in the pits. Got so many nice songs but no mood to get started.
Gonna be a busy week. Still jobless. Need money. MONEY!!!

title:{ValenWine}
Well well, this whole week has been of much musical experience especially so in singing at the ValenWine 2008 held at NTU Auditorium. This year we complement the event held by the Wine Society by adding a little touch of class. Singing. Though personally I believe the Acoustic part was way better than the Acapella part. People we gotta work on our blending and singing.
Anyways. Valentines Day. Its either you view it as Friendship day or Commercialism Day. Obviously the latter wins. Anyway went to see Joshua off who has decided to pursue his studies overseas. Hope God blesses him all the way. To be away from family and friends, such a tough decision to make. I'm glad he found his own path. I still haven't found me
I'm gonna get me a Bass Guitar. After hearing L'arc En Ciel's "Dive to Blue" song I'm so hooked I gotta go play. First step would be to learn some songs. And then head onto Jazz. Already got the budget planned for a Bass and an AMP. Woohoo for me.
Getting dry lips again. Must be all the wine tasting at the wine tour. Need to find my lip balm again. I'll be off.

title:{Happy CNY}
Well its been quite a fun CNY period for me. FYI for all, ORD LOH!!!. Woohoo. Sweet freedom. Lots of red packets from the usual and of course the usual food fare. This year's firework kinda sucks though. BAD.
Anyway yesterday was quite an intriguing experience for me. First up was meeting a personnel from the high Intel part of MINDEF. Apparently its the kind of job that will kill you if you knew anything. And she speaks Arabic. So you roughly guess what it might be. Awesome.
Later when with John to go visit Father Alfred. The man with A HUGE COLLECTION of books. His office and living area is practically overflowing with books. Lots and lots of books. He even got this 300 year old Greek/Latin bible. Super ancient history stuff.
Been pumping hard music into myself, mostly L'arc En Ciel. Need to revive the dead music self. Really need to revive it. Been lazing around too much. Need to wake up and start finding a job. And finding some more musical opportunities. Hopefully I can get into NUS and join their acapella society. MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC. Need to chant my mantra "Music Is The Air I Breathe, The Blood In Me".

title:{Future Ahead}
That's my second attempt at Aglio Olio. Still a little bit dry and the noodle lacks any flavoring. Good thing I added the ham if not it'd be tasteless. Enough spiciness with the chilli padi but still needs more garlic or something. I need to go test it a bit more. The butter initial was good, gave a good smell alas still lacking in taste. My next item would probably be trying to fry Salmon, but it needs a side to go along. I'm thinking baked potato. And broccolis or baby carrots or both. Maybe try baked chicken too. Needs time and ingredient, not that I'll be lacking any once I ORDed.
3 more days to freedom. To Pink IC. And of course on more week plus to valentines day. Friendship/Love day. Whichever you choose. Still single. Who cares. Maybe I'm lying to myself. Of course I care. Well like it matters. Its always one-sided anyways.
Music prowess has dropped by 90%. I can't sightread my piano pieces properly anymore. I can't sing in tune anymore. I can't read notes and properly and my internal pitchpipe is screwed up. I'm still nowhere near starting on my RO - Fix You transcription. Although the parts are kinda much figured out in my head. Just trying to tweak it to make the basses not so boring.
Haiz. Feelings of depression again. Its been a long time now. Lucky I can counter it better. But it brings back memories. Painful ones. Of what I've done in the past because of it. Lousy excuse I guess. Still I owe Acareak a lot. More than I can pay.
Right now only my hardcore musician friend is keeping me in track, reminding me what my true goal in life is. MUSIC. And to get that I need to feed myself and teach myself first. Needs money. Therefore I'm abandoning my physiotherapy interest to do comp. engineering. My primary interest. Once I improved on my music. I'll see where he goes. Even if it means leaving this place. Though I wouldn't want to do that. Maybe its meant to be.
