Its been a great weekend. I finished reading Harry Potter : And the Prisoner of Azkaban. Come to think of it, army camps are like Azkaban Prison and all the officers and sergeants are like Dementors, all sucking the happiness and life out of you. And everytime you book out, you will feel an immense sense of relief washing over you. The resemblance is clearly obvious.
Anyways, asked Ying Hui out for a lunch which turned into a dinner instead. The cool thing was we went to Hilton Hotel and went to see the Harvard Din And Tonics acapella group. Man they totally rocked. There was this tall bass guy and he was very very funny doing all them crazy actions. There were like 2 performances at different times and different songs. And we both like rushed dinner to check out the other half. Not only did they sing, they did some entertaining impressions. Super funny. And there was this little guy who could do some soprano operatic voice. So high and wow, simply awesome. All in all it was simply fantastic.
Check out the CD Ying Hui bought from them on the spot. Managed to get Mr. Tall and Funny to sign it, as well as the Singaporean in their group. Super sweet. Kinda regret I didn't do that as well. Oh wells, I got a photo image of it anyways. Super sweet day. Ended the day watching fireworks at the esplanade. It was like filled to the brim with people. Still managed to enjoy it. The duration and firework display was fantastic.
Then went on to Jun Yang's house to stay over and watch movies. Missed out on some show they were watching. Team American by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, producers of South Park. Anyways, watched Hard Candy instead. I haven't seen a more disturbing and sick show ever. Not very healthy to watch man. Then breaked for Macdonalds snack. Thank goodness for the 24 hours service. Then went back to watch Sin City. The director was really good. Can really portray the comic element and look into the movie.
Slept over until it was morning before proceeding for a swim. Then had Long John Silver's breakfast. First time trying it. Not that bad. Kinda cool. Though their hot tea doesn't really suit my taste. Weird flavor. Ceylon Tea. Yucks. Oh wells, gotta wait till Ying Hui send me the songs from Din and Tonics before I can enjoy them. Simply awesome man.
